Using data can benchmark impartially performances and help decision makers. Data should never be ‘the answer’ but its use can be very powerful in helping clubs analyse and monitor performance and understand the effects of different decisions.
We track over 1,000 teams, and 10,000 coaches in various leagues across the world. Automated systems track each team’s performances over the time each coach was at each club in order to assess the impact they made, whether each club improved over their tenure, and by how much. We then aggregate this over multiple clubs to see if a coach is consistently improving performance.
We are constantly monitoring clubs performance in leagues across Europe, running simulations of the entire season to assess the likelihood of all outcomes for all teams. Our bespoke team platform allows stakeholders to set targets for their team for the upcoming season. We then monitor and assess performance on an ongoing basis relative to these targets - giving users full overview of the teams prospects in their dashboard and helping inform decisions on when and how to act.
This online dashboard is updated daily, allowing users to measure and benchmark performance beyond the simple points that are seen in the league table.

Sports4Cast have worked with Super League Triathlon since 2019 providing a range of engagement analytics; content for social media and commentary teams at all stages of the race weekends, as well as developing a website and results platform for running the races and analysing and displaying post race results.
Sports4Cast engaged with Super League Triathlon back in 2019. SLT are a company that has pioneered a new and innovative format of triathlon that challenges the existing format of racing. From the beginning the key idea was using their race data to drive engagement with their audience before, during and after their races. Initially this took the form of pre race briefings for social media and commentary to share, live ‘in race analysis’ for commentary, and post race debriefs.
Over the years as Super League has developed, Sports4Cast has continued to evolve their offering, from building and running results software that is used to power their Arena Games and Championship Series, and building the Super League Stats Hub.
The Stats Hub houses all of the historical race data, as well as a bespoke rankings system unique to triathlon, allowing athletes to be compared across events and disciplines and comparisons to be made between athletes who may never have raced, as well as evaluating new and upcoming athletes for inclusion into their race series.
This also allows predictions to be run for individual races, as well as simulations of the Series events to give indications of who the favourites are, why, and how the races might unfold in order to discuss potential outcomes in pre race media postings.
Graeme and Sports4Cast provide an invaluable service throughout the race weekends - from planning and scheduling races and timings, to providing live data insights to commentary and other teams on the ground, and post race analysis after. The live race insights delivery in particular allows us to bring the excitement of the race to life, and take that to our fans watching around the world.
